Google Disclosure

HeadwayApps' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app adheres to theGoogle API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

1. Which products connect to Google

• FileDrop — stores files collected through your upload forms in your Google Drive and writes submission records to your Google Sheets.
• ActiveMerge — reads data from your Google Sheets and templates from your Drive to generate documents, and writes the finished documents back to a folder you choose.
• SAVE2 — a Chrome extension that saves text or images you right-click into a Google Sheet you select.
• DocsJam — installs Google Sheets templates from our library into your Drive.

Products that do not connect to Google — VideoSnack, Verifence, Snackit, and resume.hr — do not request Google account access beyond optional sign-in.

2. What we access, and why

We request the narrowest scopes each feature needs. Depending on the product and the features you turn on, this can include:

• Basic profile and email — to identify your account and send you output and notifications.
• Google Drive (file-scoped access) — to create folders and files for your output, and to read the specific files you select as templates or sources. Where the feature allows it, we use per-file access rather than access to your whole Drive.
• Google Sheets — to read the rows you point a job at, and to write results, submission logs, or saved snippets back to the sheet you chose.
• Google Docs and Slides — to read your template and produce the merged document.

We access this data only while running an action you started or a job you scheduled. We do not browse or index the rest of your Drive.

3. Limited Use commitments

Google user data obtained through these products is:

• used only to provide or improve the user-facing feature you asked for — the merge you ran, the file you collected, the snippet you saved;
• never sold, and never transferred to anyone except as needed to run that feature, with your consent, for security purposes, or to comply with the law;
• never used for advertising of any kind, including personalised, retargeted, or interest-based advertising, and never shared with data brokers or information resellers;
• never used to train generalised AI or machine-learning models. Where a feature sends your content to an AI provider to produce your output, that content is processed for your request only and is not used by us or by the provider for model training;
• never read by a human, unless you give explicit permission for a specific file so we can debug a problem you reported, we need it for a security investigation, or the law requires it.

4. Storage and retention

Wherever a feature allows it, your files stay in your own Google Drive and we hold only the identifiers needed to find them again. Where we must cache content to run a job — for example, a template being merged — the cache is deleted once the job finishes. OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest and are deleted when you disconnect your Google account or close your HeadwayApps account.

5. Revoking access

You can disconnect your Google account at any time from inside the product's settings, or directly from your Google account atmyaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking access stops all future data access immediately. To have data we still hold deleted, email [email protected].

6. Sharing with third parties

We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except to sub-processors who help run the feature you asked for — hosting, and AI processing for generation features — under contract, and only to the extent needed. They may not use the data for their own purposes. Our full list of processing purposes is in the Privacy Policy.

7. Security

Data in transit is encrypted with TLS. Tokens and credentials are encrypted at rest, access to production systems is restricted to the people who need it, and our Google API use is subject to Google's periodic security review for the scopes we request.
